Quality Engineer Location:

Benson, NC Hours:

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Our client is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer to shape quality systems, drive continuous improvement, and be a hands on partner to Process Engineering and Product Development.

Responsibilities include:

Monitor process capability through statistical analysis and recommend specification changes Own the Quality Near Miss and On-Hold programs, using them as leading indicators for improvement Lead A3 process improvement initiatives and support Gemba walks to capture associate feedback Analyze raw material inputs in partnership with Process Engineering and Product Development Develop and execute test method validation protocols for new and existing processes Conduct root cause analysis on nonconforming material and track corrective/preventive actions Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and vendors, issuing CARs/SCARs as needed Coordinate

ISO 9001

Quality Management System requirements and audits

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Quality Management, or Engineering Working knowledge of manufacturing environments Knowledge of

ISO 9001

Quality Management Systems Preferred:

Experience in the nonwoven, textile, or paper mill industry Six Sigma certification
