Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on Test & Commissioning Engineer to support the manufacture, testing, installation, commissioning, and service of sophisticated electromechanical equipment used in medical and scientific applications. This position is ideal for an engineer or highly experienced technical professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems and working directly with electrical, electronic, mechanical, vacuum, RF, high-voltage, controls, and instrumentation systems. The successful candidate will participate in equipment testing at our manufacturing facility and may travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, troubleshooting, and technical support. Previous cyclotron experience is beneficial but not required. Candidates with strong backgrounds in industrial equipment, medical equipment, accelerators, RF systems, semiconductor equipment, aerospace, military electronics, industrial automation, or other complex technical systems are encouraged to apply. Primary Responsibilities

• Perform assembly verification, system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of complex equipment.
• Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) prior to shipment.
• May participate in equipment installation and site acceptance testing (SAT) at customer facilities if needed.
• Possibly commission systems at domestic and international customer locations.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, RF, vacuum, high-voltage, cooling, pneumatic, and control-system problems.
• Perform system calibration, adjustment, alignment, and performance verification.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and test procedures.
• Use oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, RF test equipment, vacuum instrumentation, pressure/flow instrumentation, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled and computer-controlled equipment.
• Document test results, equipment configuration, deficiencies, corrective actions, and commissioning activities.
• Assist manufacturing personnel with technical problems encountered during equipment assembly and testing.
• Work with engineering personnel to identify design, reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability improvements.
• Provide technical support to customers and field-service personnel.
• Assist with factory customer training and technical demonstrations.
• Maintain accurate service and commissioning documentation.
• Follow company quality procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support field-service activities when required. Technical Areas Experience in several of the following areas is desirable:

• Radiation-producing or medical equipment
• Particle accelerators or cyclotrons Candidates are not expected to have experience in every area. Training will be provided on equipment-specific systems. Qualifications
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline OR equivalent military/industrial experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to systematically diagnose problems rather than simply replace components.
• Comfortable working directly on complex equipment in a manufacturing and field environment.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong hands-on skills using electronic and mechanical test equipment.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions in the field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, engineers, technicians, and management.
• Ability to maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• Factory and site acceptance testing Military technical training in avionics, electronics, radar, communications/navigation, electrical systems, instrumentation, or similar disciplines is highly valued.

Travel This position may require travel to customer locations for equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service. Travel may include domestic and international assignments and may occasionally require extended stays at customer sites during installation or commissioning projects. Candidates must be comfortable traveling independently and working directly with customers. Physical Requirements

• Ability to work around industrial and electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in equipment areas for extended periods.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and electronic test equipment.
• Ability to lift and handle equipment/components of approximately 50 pounds when necessary.
• Ability to work safely around electrical, high-voltage, RF, vacuum, mechanical, and other industrial systems after appropriate training.

What We Are Looking For We are particularly interested in someone who is curious, mechanically and electrically inclined, and persistent when troubleshooting difficult problems. This is not primarily a desk-engineering position. The person selected will work directly with the equipment and should enjoy diagnosing problems, understanding how systems interact, and seeing a machine through from manufacturing and testing to successful operation at the customer's facility.
