Job Description

We have a temporary opening for a Reliability Engineer supporting our process, pipeline, and storage operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with rotating equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, Management of Change (MOC) processes, and project execution within an operating industrial facility. This individual will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to improve equipment performance, optimize maintenance strategies, and support overall asset reliability initiatives. Experience conducting equipment reliability assessments, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting continuous improvement efforts is highly desirable. In addition to supporting the Mont Belvieu operation, this role may provide reliability and engineering support for assets located in Louisiana. Limited travel to those facilities may be required on an as-needed basis. Key Qualifications 2-5 years of reliability, maintenance, or mechanical engineering experience Experience supporting rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, motors, and related assets Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs Familiarity with Management of Change (MOC) processes Experience supporting operating facilities within the oil & gas, NGL, petrochemical, refining, or process industries Project management or small capital project experience preferred Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
