Failure Analysis Engineer Details:

Contract to Hire position $60.00 /hour First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm) Investigate product failures, manufacturing issues, customer complaints, and field returns. Identify failure mechanisms and root causes using data-driven analysis. Support product development, reliability improvements, corrective actions, and manufacturing problem-solving. Partner across engineering and manufacturing to improve product quality, reliability, and performance. Must be a U.S. Person due to

ITAR/EAR

export-control requirements.

Failure Analysis Engineer Qualifications:

B.S. in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related technical field. 3-5+ years in Failure Analysis, Reliability, Materials, Quality, or Product Engineering. Hands-on root cause/failure analysis using techniques such as microscopy, SEM/EDS, X-ray, FTIR, DSC, or metallography. Strong problem-solving skills with 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and Fault Tree Analysis; experience with customer complaints and corrective actions. Strong technical communication and documentation skills;

ISO/IATF/AS9100

knowledge, Minitab, and Six Sigma certification preferred.
