Job Description

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Engineer to support the development of advanced spacecraft and aerospace systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and validating GNC algorithms, simulation tools, and software solutions that enable mission-critical vehicle guidance, navigation, and control capabilities. You will work on complex aerospace programs supporting spacecraft throughout design, testing, launch, and operational phases. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, implement, verify, and test guidance, navigation, and control algorithms. Develop high-fidelity simulations and analytical models for aerospace and spacecraft systems. Perform navigation analysis using sensor data processing and state-estimation techniques. Design guidance solutions to achieve mission objectives involving position, orientation, trajectory, and orbital control. Develop and analyze control laws and define associated hardware and software requirements. Conduct modeling, simulation, verification, and validation of 3-DOF and 6-DOF GNC systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle. Support mission activation and operational activities, including occasional extended-hour, overnight, or weekend support as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline with 8+ years of industry experience; OR Master's degree in a related field with 6+ years of experience; OR PhD in a related field with 4+ years of experience. Hands-on experience using MATLAB/Simulink and/or C/C++ for attitude-control or state-estimation algorithm development. Experience with actuator and sensor sizing and selection. Strong experience with modeling, simulation, verification, and validation of 3-DOF or 6-DOF GNC systems . Strong understanding of spacecraft kinematics, dynamics, and control system analysis. Preferred Qualifications Experience with early-stage spacecraft conceptual design and architecture development. Experience with Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing. Experience supporting satellite integration, testing, launch, and on-orbit operations. Experience leading small engineering teams. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
