Job Title:

System Engineer Location:

Burlington, MA (On-site) The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $47.07 - $58.85 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

PM Job Summary:

Support system development, integration, verification, and sustaining engineering activities for complex electromechanical devices Write and maintain system requirements and documentation using tools such as Helix or Jama Design and build test fixtures for board and subsystem validation Perform system integration testing and troubleshoot hardware/software/firmware interactions Develop system test protocols, test plans, and reports supporting verification and validation Manage engineering change orders and lifecycle updates through digital platforms Support risk management activities, including hazard analysis and FMEA updates Collaborate with hardware, firmware, mechanical, quality, and regulatory teams to resolve system-level issues

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred 5+ years of systems engineering experience, ideally within the medical device industry Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience with complex electromechanical systems Experience with requirements management tools such as Helix or Jama Solid understanding of system verification and validation Familiarity with regulatory standards such as 60601-1, 60601-2, and 60601-1-6 preferred Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline and analytical problem-solving abilities
