Job Description

Apply Composites Engineer (Maritime) Location Hampshire Job Type Permanent Salary £47,000 - £52,500 As a Composites Engineer, you will be responsible for activities relating to the verification and validation of composite structural and non-structural components from coupon testing through to large assemblies. The engineer will be expected to work with other teams supporting the development of both bonded and bolted composite joints and the design of the composite to metalwork interface. The successful candidate will have experience in verification and validation of composite structures using pre-preg and resin infusion techniques. You will have a proven track record of delivering to time and budget on complex programmes and an ability to work independently and critically review their own work. The candidate will also be involved in the peer reviewing of other engineering work packages in support of your colleagues. Whilst the role has a specific focus, there will be opportunities to be involved in the group's wider work streams, which include propulsor and propeller design, dynamic stability, quasi-static stability, seakeeping, resistance and propulsion of surface ships and submarines.
