Field Engineer - Water/Wastewater Wharton-Smith - 3.6 Palm Bay, FL Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Content creation for technical audiences Technical documentation Construction layout surveys Technical writing experience within technology Full Job Description Wharton-Smith, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Field Engineer to work in the Water/Wastewater Division in the Treasure Coast region between Palm Bay and Port St. Lucie, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for successful completion of field tasks as assigned by the Project Superintendent and Craft Foreman.
Responsibilities:
Assist Foreman with structure layout Field purchase orders Engineering duties as assigned for assistance in planning construction. Maintain and update project logs and schedules. Identify need for Requests for Information (RFIs). Prepare, review and process shop drawings. Maintain as-built drawings. Collect and assemble O&M material. Perform subcontract scope analysis. Assist with purchasing and expediting. Document distribution. Meeting minutes and distribution. Scheduling.
Requirements:
Surveying/layout, technical writing 1-2 years of experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or other relevant degree. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
