We are looking for an experienced Surface Water Lead Engineer / Główny Inżynier / Inżynierka ds. wód opadowych lub zagospodarowania wód opadowych to join our Water Catchment Management team to help drive our extensive programme of works with varied clients in many sectors. You will join our dynamic team of over 1,000 Water and Environment professionals, working on a range of high-profile projects offering excellent and rewarding career prospects. Supported by the wider Jacobs team, you will have a varied role which could involve providing technical input and guidance to deliver surface water management projects from conceptual design to construction. Together, we will deliver projects that will challenge today and reinvent tomorrow placing sustainability and an integrated catchment management approach at the heart of what we do.

Work in an experienced project team, on international and prestigious projects, in a company present in all areas of infrastructure investment Collaboration with specialists and engineers from Jacobs' foreign offices and other industries on projects of global scale Opportunity to participate in innovation initiatives and its practical application in process optimization using the latest technology and software Benefit package (LuxMed medical package, additional life insurance, subsidized Multisport card, My Benefit system) PTO Allowance / Wczasy pod gruszą Employment based on a full-time employment contract Jacobs social networks: Women's network, One World, PRISM, Careers Network, Collectively and others, and participation in initiatives related to their activities Flexible working hours and "short Fridays" (Monday - Thursday 8.5h, Friday 6h) Ability to work in the office or in a hybrid model Here's what you'll need We are keen to speak to people who have the following skills: Proven ability to lead design teams Experience of delivering outline and detailed design of surface water drainage solutions and surface water drainage strategies including SuDS, green infrastructure and gravity piped drainage Working knowledge of relevant legislation, planning policy and design standards relating to surface water management and SuDS Competent in at least one hydraulic modelling package (e.g. MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, InfoWorks ICM, Causeway Flow) and hydrology software (e.g. ReFH2) Knowledge of an additional hydraulic modelling package will be a plus Experience in checking and reviewing design calculations, hydraulic models, contract documents, technical drawings and specifications Excellent report writing and presentation skills Demonstrable knowledge of Safety in Design and an understanding of CDM requirements Highly effective communicator, willing to mentor junior staff.
