Position Overview Green Bay Packaging, Pinecrest Lumber is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our collaborative and family-oriented Accounting team. This role focuses on accounts payable, inventory management, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Perform daily billing using Legna lumber software. Reconcile customer purchase orders, bills of lading and invoices. Review aging reports and identify past due accounts Enter invoices for payment into Acumatica accounting software. Reconcile vendor purchase orders, receiving reports and vendor invoices. Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate financial reporting. At the close of each month end, inventory and sales are reconciled and journal entries uploaded. Support year-end audits through inventory counts and financial documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance, or a related field 3+ years of general accounting experience. Proficiency in accounting packages like Acumatica, plus advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) Strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving, and willingness to take on new duties and responsibilities.
