A growing real estate organization is looking for a Staff Accountant to join its finance team and support the accounting operations of a diverse property portfolio.
This is a strong opportunity for an accountant who wants broader exposure to general ledger accounting, property-level financials, reconciliations, and month-end close.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliationsAssist with monthly and year-end closeMaintain accurate general ledger accountsReconcile bank and balance sheet accountsReview property-level income and expensesAssist with tenant-related accounting activityRecord recurring expenses, accruals, and prepaid expensesMaintain fixed asset schedulesAssist with monthly financial statementsAnalyze variances between budget and actual resultsSupport AP and AR teams as neededPrepare supporting schedules for management reportingAssist with annual audits and tax-related requestsResearch unusual transactions and accounting discrepanciesMaintain organized financial documentationAssist with accounting process improvements
