As a Staff Cost Accountant - Manufacturing, you support accurate financial records and analysis for Regal Rexnord's operations. Working in a hybrid model with close ties to finance and plant teams, you post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, assist with month-end close, and help prepare reports. You review inventory, labor, and standard costs, analyze variances, support cycle counts and E&O reviews, and help improve accounting processes and data accuracy to inform business decisions. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Support month-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet/income statement maintenance Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations to finance and operations Review daily inventory and labor activity, investigating discrepancies in production and cost data Support cycle counts, E&O inventory reviews, and updates to standard costs Prepare and distribute routine operational and financial reports Document and help improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting tools Required Skills General ledger accounting Month-end close Account reconciliations GAAP knowledge Inventory and cost accounting ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite) Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) Financial analysis and variance analysis Accounts payable and receivable support Process improvement
