We are looking for a Staff Accountant to support accounting operations for a hotel property in Broomfield, Colorado. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for someone who is comfortable managing group billing activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate brings hands-on accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with hotel finance processes, including work within Opera.

Responsibilities:

• Manage group billing activities, ensuring charges, adjustments, and supporting documentation are processed accurately and on time.
• Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and related account balances.
• Review financial transactions for completeness and accuracy, resolving discrepancies in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Support routine accounting operations by reconciling accounts and helping maintain organized financial records.
• Work within established departmental procedures to complete daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks efficiently.
• Assist hotel finance leadership with reporting needs and other accounting support tied to hospitality operations.
• Use Opera and related systems to research billing details, update records, and help streamline accounting workflows when needed.
