full-time Accountant - Oil & Gas / JIB Accountant My client is seeking a well-rounded Accountant to play a key role across the company's oil and gas accounting operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work across JIBs, revenue, royalties, cash management, investor accounting, and financial reporting while helping ensure the financial health and accuracy of the business. Why You Should Apply Make an impact across a broad spectrum of oil & gas accounting functions Hands-on exposure to JIBs, revenue, royalties, and Lease Operating Statements Play a key role in quarterly financial and investor reporting Opportunity to work with management, investors, lenders, and auditors Support meaningful cash management, equity, and investor accounting activities Competitive salary of $85K-$105K based on experience 100% employer-paid benefits for peace of mind Unlimited PTO to support a healthy work-life balance What You'll Be Doing Process JIBs, oil & gas revenue, royalty payments, and related reporting Perform bank, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations Support cash management, forecasting, and payment processing Assist with payroll accounting and 1099 reporting Track investor contributions, distributions, and equity balances Prepare LOS and schedules supporting quarterly financial reporting Research discrepancies and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close About You Be able to do the job as described. Understand oil & gas accounting, particularly JIBs, revenue, royalties, or mineral interests Experience with oil & gas accounting systems or industry-specific software - Bolo highly preferred Strong Excel capabilities with formulas, large datasets, and reconciliations Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
