In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting various accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting expertise within a collaborative environment that values precision, integrity, and continuous learning. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting principles, proficiency with financial software, and a passion for accuracy and efficiency. Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations using accounting software Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and promptly Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings in compliance with applicable regulations Support the preparation of financial reports, statements, and budgets in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Maintain general ledger accounts by recording debits and credits, ensuring double-entry bookkeeping accuracy Contribute to governmental and non-profit accounting activities, including grant tracking and fund management where applicable Qualifications Proven experience in bookkeeping or junior accounting roles with familiarity in accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar software Strong understanding of accounting concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger management Knowledge of payroll processing procedures and tax-related filings is preferred Experience with financial report writing and budgeting is advantageous Ability to work efficiently with spreadsheets and financial software while maintaining high attention to detail Familiarity with GAAP standards and governmental or non-profit accounting practices is a plus Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and support internal stakeholders Join us to grow your career in a vibrant environment that values accuracy, innovation, and professional development.
