The right person will be interested in owning a small CPA practice, so he/she must be self motivated and entrepreneurial. My practice has a niche in church bookkeeping, minister taxation and related accounting services. Duties Bookkeeping for small churches, non profits and other small business clients. Tax preparation of individual returns, non-profit returns and some small business returns. Review and supervise bookkeeper Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office, Proseries, Smartvault, Gusto, Quickbooks desktop, Financial Cents Experience Proven experience in public accounting or corporate finance with a strong foundation in financial concepts such as GAAP, double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger reconciliation, and regulatory compliance accounting. Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation, interpretation of financial reports, and technical accounting procedures. Extensive experience working with financial software including QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, Microsoft Excel (particularly spreadsheets for data analysis), and other relevant tools such as Quicken or specialized financial systems. CPA firm experience is a plus
