Full-Time, ExemptJoin Our TeamWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing organization. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting across multiple affiliated entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, excellent organizational skills, and experience working with intercompany transactions.

Essential ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post daily and monthly journal entries.

Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes.

Prepare balance sheets, income statements, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.

Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.

Code invoices, set up new accounts, and balance accounts through trial balance.

Compile and analyze financial data, including cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Reconcile multiple bank accounts and investigate discrepancies.

Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.

Review and approve online payment activity to support internal controls and fraud prevention efforts.

Support payroll processing, including tipped employee calculations.

Assist with new hire onboarding administration and employee record maintenance.

Partner with management to address employee and administrative matters as needed.

Provide backup support for accounting and administrative functions.

Perform additional accounting and business-related duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.

Experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations.

Working knowledge of QuickBooks or comparable accounting software.

Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Preferred SkillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Strong decision-making and project management capabilities.

Experience working in a multi-entity business environment is highly desirable.
