Job Description

Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half is partnering with a well-established, community-focused financial institution seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Finance team. Reporting directly to the VP Controller, this role will take ownership of key accounting and reporting functions while supporting the continued growth and improvement of the Finance organization. This is also a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a future management or leadership role. What You'll DoOwn key components of the month-end close, including complex reconciliations and GL analysis.

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting and support regulatory reporting.

Perform reconciliations for Federal Reserve, Federal Home Loan Bank, AP, and other significant accounts.

Review and reconcile daily GL activity involving organizational funds movement.

Assist with external audits, regulatory examinations, and required filings.

Partner closely with the VP Controller and Finance team on accounting initiatives.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and automation within the accounting function.
