is a growing cooperative offering products and services to a variety of consumers and businesses in Agriculture, Fuel, Lubricants, Propane, Structures, and Turf. The Summer Business Accounting internship will be located at the corporate office in Winterset (30 minutes Southwest of Des Moines) and will have the opportunity to work with experienced accountants and bookkeepers as the intern assists in many different business accounting functions.

Position Offers:

Hands on accounting experience in a large profitable agricultural supply and grain cooperative Paid internship of 8-12 weeks Opportunity to participate in specific intern company training, tours and projects Strong exposure to management leaders as mentors Ability to have autonomy with guidance Gain an understanding of how the balance sheet is created Employee will perform and participate in: Account reconciliation and balancing Preparation and analysis of financial reports Budget planning Audit preparation Inventory analysis Accounting staff meetings

Requirements:
