Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Darien, IL. The ideal candidate has a foundation in full-cycle accounting and wants to grow their skills in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, with exposure to financial planning and analysis. Responsibilities Perform full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance in QuickBooks Prepare month-end reconciliations for key accounts, including deferred revenue, deferred costs, unbilled receivables, and unearned revenue Assist with calculating revenue accruals during the month-end close Process and schedule vendor payments Support the accounting team with data entry, record-keeping, and maintaining organized financial files Help compile accurate, timely accounting information and reports in accordance with GAAP and company policies Support FP&A activities, including budget-vs-actual variance analysis and preparation of monthly management reports Assist the finance team with the annual budget process Document key accounting processes and contribute to process improvement efforts with stakeholders across the company Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks (required) Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; working knowledge of Word Strong attention to detail and a high level of organization Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines Discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive financial and company information What We Offer Competitive salary Medical insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values precision, innovation, and integrity! Pay:

$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
