What You'll Do As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for Prepare complex business tax returns, as well as individual and corporate tax returns. Review complex business tax returns prepared by other team members to ensure accuracy and compliance. Identify, troubleshoot, and independently correct errors or omissions in tax filings. Provide guidance and oversight to tax preparers and other accounting staff. Ensure tax returns are completed accurately and within established deadlines. Research complex tax matters and stay current on federal and state tax regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and maintain high-quality work. What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have Minimum of 3+ years of tax preparation experience, including individual, corporate, and business returns. Proven experience preparing and reviewing complex business tax returns. Strong technical tax knowledge with the ability to independently manage challenging tax situations. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors. Strong organizational and time management skills, particularly during busy tax seasons. Ability to work independently while providing support and guidance to other team members. Location & Schedule This position is in Fairview Heights and offers a flexible schedule.
