TEMP-HIRE CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNTANT

Role:

Construction Accountant (AP / AR & Payroll Backup)

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday through

Friday Location:

100% In-Person We are hiring a skilled Construction Accountant to join our team in person at our office. If you have a strong accounting background and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! You will manage our accounts payable and receivable pipelines, while serving as the primary backup for our payroll system. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, manage subcontractor compliance (lien waivers, insurance), and ensure accurate job-cost coding. Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and submit progress billings, track collections, and post customer payments.

Payroll Backup:

Learn our payroll system inside and out to confidently run processing through ADP when the primary payroll processor is out.

General Accounting:

Reconcile accounts, investigate variances, and support month-end closing activities.

Required Qualifications Strong Accounting Expertise:

Solid understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP), debits/credits, and construction job costing.

Software Proficiency:

Hands-on experience with Computer Ease software and ADP payroll software is highly preferred.

Industry Experience:

Background in construction accounting or a related trade industry is a major plus.

Technical Comfort:
