Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records.
• Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
• Monitor expenses and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Assist with payroll and other accounting-related activities as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards
• Support audits, tax preparation, and other financial reviews.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly

Skills & Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
• 2-5 years of accounting experience preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop & Online
• Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with union reporting and certified payroll preferred.

Annual Bonus Compensation :

• $32.

00-$35.00/hr

Location :

South Roxana, IL Schedule :

• Full time, Monday-Friday.

Pay:

$32.00 - $35.00 per hour
