Outsourced Accounting/Client Accounting Services Senior Associate Hybrid | Chicago North Suburbs You get to know a client's business pretty well when you work on their accounts. The frustrating part is spotting things that could work better and not having the time or opportunity to help change them and do more on the advisory side. This role gives you more room to do that. You'll join the growing CAS team at an established midsize CPA firm, working directly with clients on their accounting, reporting and the processes behind it. Some clients will need help getting their month end close running smoothly. Others might need better reporting, support with a US GAAP conversion or someone to work through an accounting issue ahead of an audit or transaction. There's variety here, and the opportunity to stay involved as clients put your advice into practice. Already in CAS? Coming from audit? They're open to both. If you're an Audit Senior who enjoys the client conversations and wants to get more involved in helping businesses with their accounting, this could be a good next step. You'll still use your technical knowledge, while building experience across advisory projects, financial statement preparation, process improvements and client training. And there's somewhere to go with it. The firm is growing and expanding its service lines. Promotions are based on what you're ready to take on, rather than how long you've held your title. You can build towards management or develop deeper expertise in particular industries and areas of CAS. The partners want people to progress, while recognising that everyone brings different strengths. You'll need: At least three years of accounting experience, including public accounting Your CPA, or to be actively working towards it Confidence working directly with clients An interest in solving problems and taking on more responsibility If you enjoy accounting but want more involvement in the conversations, decisions and improvements around it, let's chat.
