We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented individual to manage our Accounting/HR Department. We are a small company located in northern Missouri. This position requires immediate ownership of all key processes; accounting, payroll, human resources and administrative operations. This position is responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, cash management, payroll, benefits administration and maintaining accurate and timely financial records. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate accounting records, reconciliations, fixed assets and cash management Develop and maintain solid financial policies and procedures Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports as requested Prepare payroll bi-weekly Oversee accounts payables and receivables Prepare all federal, state and any required regulatory reports in a timely manner Administer all employee benefit programs including insurance and 401KMentor and develop the accounting staff Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance3-5 years of progressive management experience in accounting Strong leadership and communication skills Proficient with accounting software (Quickbooks preferred) Previous payroll experience required Starting pay $50,000 and up depending on experience.
