Shift Responsibilities:

Preparing and distribution of all invoices Prepare and post journal entries Maintain regular contact with resident families regarding all financial issues Receive and enter all payments from residents, staff, and donors on a daily basis Assist in entering accounts payable invoices and with monthly sales, tax reports, and semi-annual claim for refund Assist with various account reconciliations: bank accounts, credit cards, balance sheet and income statement Generate and distribute a monthly departmental income statement to program leaders Prepare weekly trend report on accounts receivable Assist with annual audit and Form 990 preparation Assist CFO with review and preparation of quarterly board report and budget preparation Serve as a back-up to payroll review and processing

Qualifications:

4 years of experience working in a public accounting or the accounting department of a private industry or non-profit organization BA or BS in accounting Experienced in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word Knowledge of intermediate accounting CooperRiis is an equal opportunity employer.
