Onsite Job Summary Seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end and year-end close activities within the retail and apparel industry. Key Responsibilities Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice processing, payments, collections, and reconciliations. Perform bank, cash, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations. Monitor cash flow, store deposits, and credit-card settlements. Prepare financial reports, analyze variances, and support management reporting. Perform inventory reconciliations and analyze COGS, shrinkage, and inventory adjustments. Support year-end 1099 reporting and maintain accurate vendor tax records. Process accounting transactions, generate reports, and investigate discrepancies using NetSuite. Support month-end and year-end close activities while maintaining accurate financial records. Qualifications Experience in full-cycle accounting, AP/AR, and financial reconciliations. Knowledge of retail accounting, inventory accounting, and POS/store accounting. Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems. Strong Microsoft Excel, analytical, and financial reporting skills. Knowledge of 1099 reporting and month-end/year-end close processes. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
