Accountant Salary:
$95,000 – $105,000

Key Responsibilities for the
Accountant:
Manage reinsurance accounting activities related to premiums, losses, recoveries, collateral, and cash allocations. Prepare, validate, and distribute treaty bordereaux and settlement reports. Process treaty and facultative premium and claims settlements and collections. Perform reconciliations between ceded balances and general ledger reports. Support quarterly and year-end reporting requirements. Assist with audits, financial analysis, reconciliations, and process improvement projects. Qualifications for the
Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 2 years of accounting, finance, insurance, or financial services experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and
VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
functions. Strong reconciliation and analytical skills. CPA or CPA eligibility preferred. SAP experience preferred. EB-1083572115
