Job Description

Skaneateles, NY | On-Site Position Overview The Corporate Accountant will be required to perform all general accounting duties as assigned within the Finance Department. Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of financial reports to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities and other related financial activities. Tasks are distributed to each accountant as part of their specific role within the department. Each accountant will also be expected to provide support for other positions within the department. What You'll Do Month end close including balance sheet reconciliations and expense account reporting and analysis. Inventory audit and reconciliations. Review Bill of Material. Reconciles bank accounts monthly. Responsible for general ledger journal entries and analysis of manufacturing variances. Maintains fixed asset records. Files required tax forms and census reports with federal, state, and local government agencies. Provide Audit support. Prepare and distribute reports to management. Support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll as needed. What You Bring Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field. 3+ years of related accounting experience preferred. Advanced computer experience/proficiency - to include MS Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to gather and independently analyze information, identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks. Able to learn quickly and meet deadlines. Must possess the literacy and mathematical skills necessary to follow safety protocols, production/position related instructions and tasks.
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:
$75,000 - $120,000 The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
