Why This Opportunity Stands Out ( Senior Accountant ): Family-owned organization with decades of success and a strong presence in Northeast Ohio Stable, established company offering long-term career opportunities Gain exposure to accounting operations across multiple retail locations Opportunity to take ownership of key accounting functions and contribute to financial reporting and process improvements Work closely with accounting leadership in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Strong work-life balance with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule Key Responsibilities ( Senior Accountant ): Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations to support month-end and year-end close Analyze general ledger activity and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting Reconcile revenue, cash activity, bank accounts, and other balance sheet accounts Review financial transactions across multiple retail locations to ensure accuracy and consistency Assist with financial statement preparation, monthly reporting, and variance analysis Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general accounting functions as needed Partner with internal departments to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes Preferred Qualifications ( Senior Accountant ): Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close Experience with financial reporting, journal entries, and account analysis Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting/ERP systems #LI-AB2 #FamilyOwned #SeniorAccountant #CFStaffing EB-8681142851
