Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced financial leader to join our accounting leadership team. This position will provide oversight of the financial activities of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. Our ideal candidate would have Controller level experience or applicable experience to onboard under the current Controller This position performs professional accounting and financial analytical activities for Eagle Crest Resort and our managed HOA's while using generally accepted accounting principles, methods, and practices. The position requires an in-depth knowledge of financial reporting and related systems. Duties include preparing budgets, financial analysis, cash flow statements, variance reports, business analysis and other activities related to financial management. This position manages a team of 5 employees. • This posting is not meant to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities, but rather constitutes a general definition of the position's scope and function.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; and three years of accounting experience; OR any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the job.
Preference will be given for:
Experience with managing and fully utilizing Finance/Payroll systems. Experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite and other advanced financial reporting tools. Experience with comprehensive annual budgeting and monthly reporting. Experience reporting to Boards of Directors, with tact and effective communications. Must have knowledge and skills in: Principles of financial accounting, cost-benefit analysis, and financial management of projects and programs. Accounting and financial reporting standards. Exercising patience and discretion in communications with others inside and outside the organization and ability to communicate technical concepts to others, as needed. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others at all times.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Oregon driver's license within 30 days of hire date. The employment offer will be contingent upon presentation of an acceptable and verifiable driver's license, pre-employment screening for criminal history, and driving history. This screening must be completed with satisfactory findings for a formal offer of employment to be extended. Physical Requirements. Must have the ability to work in an office that is environmentally controlled; possess sufficient hand coordination to perform keyboarding and data entry; arm/hand movements to retrieve work materials and operate a variety of general office equipment. The position is frequently required to sit, walk, stoop, bend, reach, stand, grasp, talk, hear, see, and may lift up to 10 pounds.
