What You'll Do Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Enter invoices, payments, deposits, and other financial transactions Reconcile bank statements, vendor statements, and general ledger accounts Review and post vehicle sales transactions and supporting paperwork Assist with tracking vehicle inventory and reconciling floorplan accounts Support month-end closing and financial reporting Research discrepancies and help resolve outstanding balances Maintain organized records and protect confidential information Work closely with sales, finance, service, and parts departments What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Dependable, organized, and able to meet deadlines Understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles Comfortable using spreadsheets, accounting software, and learning dealership systems Strong communication skills and a professional attitude Ability to work independently and contribute to a team Automotive dealership accounting experience is preferred; applicants with relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience are encouraged to apply Join Wareing Motors We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, follows through on tasks, and understands that accurate accounting supports every department in the dealership. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation Basic understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger transactions Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve problems Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle confidential financial information with discretion Experience with dealership management systems is a plus
