full-time I am looking for a Staff Accountant to join a privately held, private equity-backed manufacturing organization based in Middle Tennessee. Why this role? Join a stable, well-established accounting team - this is not a cleanup or turnaround situation Gain hands-on exposure to intercompany accounting across a global organizational structure Predictable workload outside of month-end close, with clear expectations and strong process discipline Genuine growth potential as the accounting team continues to expand Backed by a growing, PE-owned company with continued investment in the business Key Responsibilities Perform cash reconciliations and cash application Manage intercompany AR/AP reconciliations across global entities Prepare monthly journal entries tied to reconciliations (approximately 15-20 per month) Support sales & use tax processes in partnership with external advisors Maintain accurate intercompany balances Participate in the month-end close process (3-4 day cycle) Provide general accounting support as needed Requirements 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience Strong foundation in core accounting principles Hands-on experience with reconciliations and journal entries Proficiency in Excel Accounting degree preferred CPA a plus, but not required Comfortable working in a fully in-office environment
