Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Maintain accurate and reliable financial records. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls. Analyze Business Performance Investigate variances and identify root causes. Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations. Support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis. Provide actionable recommendations to leadership. Project & Construction Accounting Monitor project costs, billings, retainage, and contract activity. Support job-cost accounting and Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting. Assist with revenue recognition and project profitability analysis. Ensure project financial information is complete and accurate. Improve Processes & Controls Strengthen accounting procedures, reconciliations, documentation, and internal controls. Recommend automation and process improvements. Support audits, tax requirements, insurance reporting, and compliance initiatives. Lead & Mentor Review accounting work prepared by team members. Train and mentor developing accounting professionals. Help establish accounting best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Strong experience with:

General Ledger Accounting Month-End Close Account Reconciliations Financial Reporting Journal Entries Variance Analysis Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience working within ERP or integrated accounting systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). Preferred Qualifications CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification.

Experience in:

Construction Accounting Telecommunications Industry Utility Construction Engineering Services Project-Based Businesses Experience with: Job Cost Accounting Work-in-Progress (WIP) Retainage Contract Billing Revenue Recognition Project Profitability Analysis Bilingual English/Spanish. $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
