General Accountant / Bookkeeper Pay Rate $25 - $30/hour

Pinehurst, TX 77362 A growing construction company in Pinehurst, TX is looking for a reliable General Accountant / Bookkeeper. You will manage daily financial operations, track project costs, and keep our books accurate. The ideal candidate has strong QuickBooks experience. Understanding of the construction industry and bilingual Spanish/ English are a plus. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and maintain the general ledger. Process weekly payroll for field crew and office staff. Create and send accurate client invoices based on project milestones. Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings. Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and vendor accounts. Track project costs, materials, and subcontractor expenses. Prepare weekly financial reports for company management. Qualifications Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant, preferably in construction. High proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online is required. Experience with payroll processing and local/state payroll taxes. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. An understanding of construction accounting concepts is a plus (job costing etc). Bilingual Spanish / English is preferred, but not required. Hiring immediately, Apply today!
