Manufacturing Accountant

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Accountant to support daily accounting operations with a primary focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and cost-related activities. This position will also provide support in Accounts Receivable, cash application, data management, inventory and fixed asset activities, and month-end closing.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Accounts Payable and cost-related activities. Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) activities as needed. Manage cash applications, including credit card payments, wire/ACH transactions, and checks. Prepare and maintain Excel-based cost analysis and reports. Maintain accurate AP and vendor/customer master data files. Manage shared costs and recharge costs, ensuring accurate supporting data. Participate in inventory and fixed asset physical counts. Assist with month-end closing activities. Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation.

Qualifications:

Experience in general accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and cost accounting processes. Experience with Accounts Receivable and cash application is a plus, but not required. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and organize financial data. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Good communication and organizational skills. Reports To
