Job Description
Robert Half is partnering with an established organization for an interim Staff Accountant project. In this role, you will be supporting daily and monthly accounting tasks as well as special projects. This is estimated to be a 2-4 month long contract position.
Perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure balances are accurate and properly supported.
Complete bank reconciliations, research outstanding items, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Assist with financial reporting, audit support, and process improvements while maintaining compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
Duties:
Prepare and post journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and support month-end close activities.Perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure balances are accurate and properly supported.
Complete bank reconciliations, research outstanding items, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Assist with financial reporting, audit support, and process improvements while maintaining compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
