Senior Accountant Job in Milwaukee! We are working with a local financial institution that is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their staff. Responsibilities include reconciliation of bank statements & GL accounts and will assist the Controller with ME close and ad-hoc projects. The Senior Accountant is also responsible for the preparation of the quarterly Call Report and will be crossed trained in other departmental tasks. Targeting individuals with a 4-year degree with 1-3 years of accounting experience. Job Responsibilities:

Review of general ledger accounts and preparation and adjustments to journal entries. Support the Month-end Close. Review daily loan and deposit activity variances. Financial analysis, including investment analysis and accounting standard analysis. Support in the organization's Consolidations, Treasury and FP&A teams when necessary. Prepare periodic reports in for timely filing, such as the quarterly Call Report. Participate in strategic initiatives for the Finance department and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 1-3 years of experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Please forward your resume for immediate consideration.
