Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to support corporate entities and business owners with accurate, timely tax services in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This position is well suited for someone who is detail oriented and can manage tax preparation work while also contributing bookkeeping support outside of peak filing periods. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, sound judgment, and a consistent commitment to detail and client service.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax filings for corporations, business owners, and individual clients with a high degree of accuracy.
- Analyze financial records and supporting documents to ensure tax returns are complete, compliant, and properly documented.
- Communicate with clients to gather missing information, clarify financial activity, and address tax-related questions.
- Provide bookkeeping assistance during the off-season, including maintaining organized and reliable financial records.
- Identify tax issues, research applicable rules, and apply appropriate solutions based on current regulations.
- Monitor deadlines and manage multiple engagements to deliver work on schedule during busy filing periods.
