40-hour workweek, flexible start between 8:00 and 9:00 am Senior Accountant Description Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to take ownership of the accounting function for a small, growing manufacturing operation in Sophia, WV. In this hands-on, high-impact accounting role you'll manage the full accounting cycle and work closely with leadership. You'll have visibility into the entire business from month-end close and financial reporting to job costing, payroll, budgeting, and cash management. The ideal candidate has accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, understands ERP systems, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities. Senior Accountant Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management and general ledger Own the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and variance analysis Prepare financial reports for leadership, including weekly cash reports, income statements, and balance sheets Support manufacturing cost accounting, job costing, and inventory accounting, including the annual physical inventory count Manage bank reconciliations, daily deposits, credit card transactions, and customer credit checks Assist with budgeting, forecasting and ongoing financial analysis Support compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and lending requirements Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors Support basic onsite HR functions while maintaining strict confidentiality Senior Accountant Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required ERP system experience required Payroll processing experience required Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables & reporting) and Microsoft Office proficiency required About #twiceasnice Recruiting Across industries, roles, and North America, we help clients quickly attract top talent with custom-built searches.
