Job Description

Interim
C ONTROLLER
We're working with an established, growing organization that is looking for a hands-on Controller to take ownership of its accounting function. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being in the weeds while also having responsibility for the bigger picture.

  • Fully on-site in Trumbull, CT What you'll be doing:
  • Own the month-end close process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage the GL and maintain accurate accounting records
  • Stay hands-on with AP and oversee payroll processing
  • Prepare financial reports and support leadership with accounting needs
  • Manage audit support, pension reporting, workers' compensation, and other compliance requirements
  • Identify process improvements and ensure deadlines and accounting responsibilities stay on track What we're looking for:
  • Strong hands-on accounting background with AP, GL, payroll, and month-end close experience
  • QuickBooks Online required
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables
  • Someone who can independently manage the accounting function and take ownership
  • Paycor, pension, and audit experience are pluses We're moving quickly and looking to connect with Controller-level candidates ASAP!
