Job Description

Job Overview Accounting Administrator BodyWork Associates | Champaign-Urbana, IL BodyWork Associates is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Administrator to support the financial operations of our growing practice. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable, and providing reliable financial information to leadership. Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger activities in QuickBooks Desktop Reconcile transactions between Jane, QuickBooks, bank records, and operational reports Perform bank, credit card, cash, and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Process weekly payroll and maintain employee payroll records Manage accounts payable, invoices, vendor payments, and outstanding balances Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and other financial reconciliations Assist with tax preparation and related filings Monitor inventory and operational expenses Maintain organized financial and administrative records Support leadership with financial reporting, analysis, and administrative projects Maintain confidentiality of financial, employee, and client information Qualifications Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or financial administration Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), including debits and credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting Experience with payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation Strong spreadsheet and data-analysis skills Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Schedule & Growth Schedule is based on organizational needs. This position offers the opportunity for expanded responsibilities in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, operational reporting, and strategic planning as BodyWork Associates continues to grow.

From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 35.0 per week
