Duties and Responsibilities Accounting
Supervise and perform daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial transactions for accuracy and compliance
Ensure accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
Manage Reporting functions and Aging reports
Generate, review, and distribute accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
Set up new accounts and provide credit references for our customer
Support implementation of new systems, tools, or accounting processes
Delegate workload, monitor performance, and support professional growth
Support internal and external audits
Resolve billing discrepancies by working with customers and internal departments
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and billing standards
Process adjustments, credits, and refunds as needed
Reports to Sales on Customer financials and escalate trends
Manage Accounting Customer Relations and proactively increase customer satifaction
Manage/ Collaborate with direct oversite to reconcile accounts and close month-end billing
Supervise employees in the department
Manage Accounting Emails
Other duties as assigned Ideal Candidate Traits
Leadership experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
CPA or CMA certification preferred (or progress toward certification)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience; supervisory experience preferred
Strong knowledge of GAAP (and/or IFRS as applicable)
Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.)
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
Excellent customer service (Required)
Strong organizational and time management skills (Required)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-Motivated to get work done in support of personnel and company objectives
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP experience (preferred)
Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
