full-time LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is partnering with a stable and growing manufacturing organization seeking an Accounting Supervisor. This position will lead the financial reporting function, oversee two direct reports, and play a key role in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities within a fast-paced accounting environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys GL accounting, learning the ropes of supervision/management, financial reporting, and working in a collaborative team-oriented culture. The ideal candidate will bring strong month-end close experience from a manufacturing environment. Current Senior Accountants even without supervisory experience are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

Lead Month-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End Close Financial Reporting Oversight Journal Entry Review Account Reconciliation Review Bank Reconciliation Review Internal Control Compliance Ensure SOX Compliance Internal and External Audit Support Financial Statement Preparation Staff Supervision and Development Process Improvement Initiatives Special Projects and Ad Hoc Analysis Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Hands-on month-end close experience required Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred ERP system experience required Supervisory or leadership experience preferred Public company experience preferred
