$32.00 - $45.00 per hour (Dependent on experience) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant / Accounting Supervisor for a temporary coverage role with a strong potential to convert to a permanent position based on performance and budget. In this role, you will act as a supervisor of accounting processes and quality control. You will focus on managing workflow efficiency and financial accuracy rather than managing direct reports. Core Responsibilities As the Accounting Supervisor, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Division/Region financial statements and information reported to internal and external users. Your primary areas of focus include: Financial Accounting & Month-End Close Supervising accurate financial and statistical close processes within established timelines. Analyzing general ledger accounts and preparing/posting journal entries. Handling complex, non-standard sales accruals that are not based on standard reports or calculations. Managing complex Cost of Sales (COS) and Operational Expenditure (OPEX) accruals that require manual calculation. Reviewing month-end close data and managing necessary ad-hoc entries. Compliance, Research & Specialized Tax Researching technical accounting topics to ensure company compliance. Managing localized accounting topics, including real estate taxes and personal property taxes. Fulfilling documentation and data requests related to internal and external audit procedures. Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration Managing internal reporting requests for the Division, Regional branches, and Corporate teams. Handling other ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as requested. Building effective working relationships with all levels of associates across the organization. Serving as the primary liaison with the shared services teams (including Accounts Payable, Cash Applications, Central Billing, Vendor Chargebacks, General Ledger Accounting, and Fixed Asset functions). #INDNJ
