Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an Audit and Compliance Manager for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid). This role supports compliance, privacy, and data governance initiatives by implementing monitoring, classification, and regulatory controls across enterprise systems.
Rate Range:
$58/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Audit and Compliance Manager Responsibilities include: Develop and implement compliance and privacy controls to ensure adherence to regulatory and audit requirements. Manage data classification, metadata governance, and data protection initiatives across enterprise environments. Monitor compliance risks and security events using tools such as Splunk and other monitoring platforms. Support cloud compliance operations within AWS environments, including control validation and remediation activities. Maintain compliance documentation, policies, procedures, and audit evidence using collaboration tools such as Confluence and Quip. Design and leverage AI-driven solutions and automation to improve day-to-day compliance monitoring and governance processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in compliance engineering, privacy, data governance, or a closely related discipline. Strong expertise with regulatory and audit frameworks such as
PCI DSS, PCI
PIN, NIST, and SOX, along with hands-on experience in data classification and metadata management. Experience with compliance monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, GitHub), AWS cloud environments, and the ability to leverage AI technologies to support compliance and privacy operations. Pay Details:
