Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Audit Manager to lead and oversee Agreed-Upon Procedures (AUP) audits, Financial Statement audits, financial reviews, and compliance audits for our education-sector clients. The ideal candidate will manage a team of auditors, ensure timely and accurate deliverables, and work directly with school leaders and internal stakeholders to ensure high standards of quality and client service. Key Responsibilities Manage the full audit engagement cycle for Financial Statement audits, including planning, execution, and reporting. Supervise, train, and review the work of audit staff and associates. Communicate with clients throughout the audit process to gather documentation, explain findings, and offer recommendations. Develop and enhance internal procedures to increase audit efficiency and effectiveness. Work closely with leadership to identify areas of improvement in client processes and suggest value-added recommendations. Assist in onboarding new school clients and supporting their ongoing compliance needs. Collaborate cross-functionally with tax, accounting, and advisory teams. Qualifications CPA license Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in auditing, with a preference for experience in the education or nonprofit sectors. Strong understanding of AUP audits and Florida Department of Education compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to manage a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and cloud-based audit software.
