JOB SUMMARY
Inspects, audits, and reports on materials, processes, and products using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company's quality standards.
MINIMUM JOB DESCRIPTION REQUIEMENTS
Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiar with the plastic industry. Preferably prior quality experience Performs functions of rework inspection as directed by Quality Manager Read and address daily documentation from items on hold Notify manufacturing and quality when defective product is detected Maintain flexibility to work overtime when required, on minimum notice. Perform receiving or final audit inspection duties if needed or directed to Assist in the training of Production Personnel and/or others as directed Assist in the development and implementation of Quality Policies. Procedures and Work Instructions. This includes Visual Aids. Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 30 pounds on a daily basis Must be willing to train to be able to cover for quality inspectors Assist Quality Manager in all areas as needed or directed. Complete Certificate of Analysis forms when needed Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures.
