Job Description:
An Internal Auditor
Property Management assists in the evaluation of a property's internal controls over occupancy, compliance and business operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure the properties meet their financial, operational and compliance objectives
Report control deficiencies to management and make recommendations to mitigate risk and add value
Engage in remediation of identified issues through follow-up meetings, emails, Zoom, monitoring reports, and additional site visits
Play an active role in the maintenance and review of policies and procedures
Communicate with a variety of stakeholders across the company
Qualifications and Requirements:
An Accounting or Finance/Business degree and a certification in internal auditing; at least 2 years' experience in operational auditing
Attention to detail is imperative
Organization and time-keeping skills
Ability to assess and evaluate risk, plus implement solutions
Excellent reporting skills
The ability to keep calm under pressure, especially when there are tight deadlines
The ability to think objectively
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Schedule:
Must be able to work between the appropriate business hours. Monday
Friday 9:00AM
5:00PM (40 hours per week)
