Job Description
ENERGY AUDITOR

Weatherization Hours:
Monday
•Friday, 8 am
•4:30 pm (.5hr break) for 40 hours per week
Pay:
$22.00
•$26.00 per hour based on experience and certification. As an Energy Auditor, you'll spend your day in the field, visiting residential homes and evaluating how homes use energy. You'll look beyond the utility bill to identify where energy may be lost and what improvements could make the home more comfortable and energy-efficient.
A typical day may include:
Traveling to residential properties to conduct energy audits and assessments Inspecting the home's building envelope, heating and cooling systems, appliances, insulation, windows, doors, and other energy-related components Performing diagnostic testing and collecting measurements and other required information Identifying energy-efficiency and weatherization opportunities Documenting findings and preparing recommendations based on the assessment Communicating with homeowners and answering questions about the assessment and recommended improvements Maintaining accurate records and completing required documentation Working with the Weatherization team to help move projects from assessment to completion.
